The RB-15 delivers superb sound through a 5.25-inch woofer and 1-inch titanium-dome tweeter that features a high-energy, video-shielded Neodymium magnet. The tweeter is coupled to an exclusive Klipsch square Tractrix® Horn. This advanced horn increases sensitivity while minimizing the room interactions that blur the sonic detail and imaging of conventional speakers.

The woofer on the RB-15 is an enhanced version of Klipsch’s unique, copper-colored Cerametallic™ material that is stronger than ever. This cone is made of an anodized aluminum that makes it tough but does not detract from its beauty. The anodizing process converts its inner and outer surface to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with outstanding damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer’s operating range. Driving this cone is a large, video-shielded magnet and high-temperature, long-excursion voice coil, for high efficiency and deep, powerful, articulate bass without breakup or distortion. 

The RB-15 also has a flared rear port to minimize turbulence noise. The RB-15 has both a back-panel keyhole for flush mounting to a wall and a threaded insert for attachment to popular adjustable wall and ceiling brackets. 

The RB-15 can fill a room with a brilliant, soulful sound because of a crossover network that uses extremely high-performance components, including Monster Cable® Bandwidth Balanced™ wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor. These parts are mounted on a high-quality fiberglass epoxy circuit board.

Our black or light cherry wood grain vinyl veneer of the RB-15 gives it an elegance not seen in many bookshelf models. For the first time, Klipsch is featuring a sculpted low-diffraction baffle with an integrated horn design. The RB-15 also has a magnetic grille that makes it easy to handle and durable.
